PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS
We have conducted numerous personal injury claims on behalf of Claimants' who have sustained injury as a result of the negligent actions of others and including claims against employers for injury sustained in the course of employment.

If you have suffered an injury which you believe was caused by the negligence of another you should not delay in seeking legal advice. You have a period of 3 years from the date that you sustained your injury to pursue a claim.

ASBESTOS DISEASE CLAIMS
We have extensive experience in acting on behalf of asbestos disease Claimants'. To date we have successfully concluded many hundreds of claims and with the result that we have recovered compensation on behalf of sufferers and their families. We have acted for Claimants' throughout the UK and as far afield as Australia and we have proceeded against a variety of Defendants'.

There are many different types of employment which may have entailed past exposure to asbestos. The following is merely an example of those we have encountered:-

  • LAGGERS
  • LABOURERS
  • PLANT ATTENDANTS
  • STEEL WORKERS
  • BUILDERS
  • CARPENTERS
  • PAINTERS/DECORATORS
  • PRISON OFFICERS
  • ELECTRICIANS
  • OIL REFINERY WORKERS
  • PLUMBERS
  • FITTERS
  • WELDERS
  • BRICKLAYERS
  • SCAFFOLDERS
  • ORDINARY SEAMEN (MERCHANT NAVY)
  • ASBESTOS INDUSTRY WORKERS FURNACEMEN

If you suspect that you may be suffering from an asbestos disease and/or you have ever been exposed to asbestos you may well be able to make a claim against the employer who exposed you to asbestos. It does not matter if the employer is no longer trading since the claim will be met by their insurers.

Asbestos diseases do not develop immediately after you have been exposed to asbestos. There is frequently a gap of some 30 years or so from the date of exposure to the date when the disease manifests itself. Many of the Claimant's whom we act for were exposed to asbestos during employments from 1950 onwards.

You have a period of only 3 years from the date of diagnosis of an asbestos related disease to pursue a claim and you should not therefore delay in seeking legal advice if you have had such a diagnosis.

OUR APPROACH
We are committed to providing a high-quality legal service to all of our clients'. We will keep you regularly informed of the progress of your claim at each stage.

We provide a first initial interview free of charge, at the end of which we will usually be in a position to advise you as to whether we consider you have merits in proceeding with a claim. If you are unable to travel due to your injury or condition we will attend upon you at your home or some other convenient location.

If we are not able to advise you fully at the initial interview stage and we consider that further enquiries are necessary we will tell you this and report back to you thereafter with the result of our enquiries.

We do not believe in taking on a claim for which we do not hold the necessary specialism since such a course of action would not benefit the client. In these circumstances we shall refer you to another solicitor whom we consider is appropriately specialised to deal with your claim.

Your claim will be handled throughout by Mr. Parsons or his assistant solicitor Miss Hawkes. You may discuss your claim with either since we ensure that we are familiar with our respective caseloads to provide the best possible service to our clients. If neither is available, their secretary will speak to you in their absence and will ensure that your queries are appropriately addressed and that you receive a returned call if required.
